"That’s enough to put Ghandi on tilt."
.
Heh. Possibly. I suspect though that he might also believe that if you were ever to make the $10,000 challenge some day that you will in every likelyhood have burned $20,000, $30,000 or more in time. Time is money.

It is great that you are trying to create a place where people can come to for tips on poker for players or people interested in poker. I have thought about trying online poker but have really just stuck to poker night with some friends. I work with a company that gives a lot of tips and suggestions for online poker (I posted a link) and think eventually I will give online poker a shot. Until then, between this site and Poker Savvy, Ill be trying to up my game at home.

Well correct Sit-N-Go strategy is to basically fold fold fold fold until the blinds get to less than 10X your stack. So unless you ge a monster, like AA or KK, or you big blind into something huge, you don't want to mix it up early.

The turbos hasten the arrival of the real game, which is Push/Fold at around 9-10X Big Blinds, that's where the skill comes in, in knowing when and what, to push.

Also... Turbos by their nature are quicker, which means you can get more tournaments in per hour. So if you have a positive ROI of say 5%, thats more money per hour.
